Positioning Partners Is Officially a Proudly South African Member

Positioning Partners is a Proudly South African member

Positioning Partners (Pty) Ltd is proud to announce that we are now an official Proudly South African member, marking another significant milestone in our journey as a growing South African marketing and public relations agency.

Established in March 2026, Positioning Partners was founded with a clear ambition: to build a credible, competitive South African agency that helps organisations and leaders strengthen their positioning, visibility and influence.

Our Proudly South African membership reinforces that commitment.

What does being Proudly South African mean?

Proudly South African is South Africa’s official Buy Local campaign. Its mandate is to encourage local procurement, increase local production, stimulate job creation and strengthen the South African economy.

Membership requires businesses to meet criteria relating to local content, quality, labour practices and environmental responsibility. For service businesses, the organisation also considers the local supply chain. Proudly South African outlines its membership criteria and benefits here.

For Positioning Partners, achieving membership provides an independent credibility marker as we continue building the agency.

More than a logo

The Proudly South African mark is widely recognised, but the value of membership extends beyond displaying the logo.

As a member, Positioning Partners gains access to the Proudly South African business ecosystem, including its member database, B2B opportunities, procurement and tender information where applicable, business forums, workshops, networking opportunities and initiatives such as the Buy Local Summit & Expo.

It also creates opportunities to connect and collaborate with other South African businesses committed to supporting local economic participation.

This is particularly relevant to PP’s growth strategy.

As we work with corporates, entrepreneurs, public-sector organisations and other institutions, procurement credentials increasingly form part of how potential partners and suppliers are assessed.

Positioning Partners is already a Level 1 B-BBEE, 100% youth-led and 50% female-led South African agency. Proudly South African membership adds another important layer to that positioning.

The Proudly South African mark is earned: Businesses are assessed against four key areas: local content, quality, labour practices and environmental responsibility. For service companies such as Positioning Partners, the local supply chain is considered as part of the assessment.

Building credibility from the beginning

We have been deliberate about building the right foundations for Positioning Partners from an early stage.

As part of our Proudly South African application, we provided evidence supporting the quality of our work, including testimonials and reference letters from clients who have experienced our services first-hand.

Our work spans strategic public relations, media relations, stakeholder engagement, executive profiling, reputation management, digital marketing, SEO, paid media, email marketing and strategic communication.

While PP is a young business, the experience behind it is not. Our founders bring more than 21 years of combined experience across multiple industries, and our focus is on turning that experience into measurable value for the organisations we serve.

Proudly South African turns 25 in 2026: The national Buy Local campaign was established in 2001 to promote South African businesses, products and services and support job creation.

Choosing South African businesses matters

Every procurement decision has an economic impact.

When organisations intentionally include capable local businesses in their supply chains, they help create opportunities for entrepreneurs, professionals, specialists and the businesses that support them.

That principle matters to us both as a supplier and as a buyer.

As Positioning Partners grows, we want to build relationships with other South African businesses, support local suppliers where appropriate and contribute to an ecosystem in which South African enterprises have a meaningful opportunity to grow.

Our Proudly South African membership is one more step towards building the kind of business we set out to create.

We are proudly South African. And now, we are officially Proudly South African.
